Behind the Lyrics: Moonlit Letters

What if every unsent message was folded into moonlight instead of deleted?

A black rose blurred by motion against a pale wall

Moonlit Letters began with a single line, I write to you in silver ink, written at an hour when nobody should be awake.

The idea was simple: what if every unsent message was folded into moonlight instead of deleted? The moon became the only postman left, the one light both people could still see from wherever they were.

The bridge that kept changing

The bridge was rewritten again and again. Earlier versions tried to explain the heartbreak. The final version stopped explaining and simply admitted something: maybe love is just a light that leaves long before it lands.

That line is the whole song in miniature. The starlight we see tonight left its star long ago. Some feelings travel the same way.
